I took traits I liked from the first image and tried to I took traits I liked from the first images and tried to refine the details to make characters that were more simple.

New Characters

These were what the characters were like pre-midterm crit. During the midterm crit, I learned that they were too similar in shape, so I began to consider how they could be better edited.

He looks too sane. If he weren't snarling, he'd probably look friendly.

Once I had a design I liked, I worked on simplifying it for animation.

I couldn't decide If I wanted it to be basic or if I wanted it to have texture. This was a test for the texture.

I'm probably not going to do this because it takes too much time for how it turns out. (not worth it)
